In this video.

00:00:02

We'll create a sales quotation. We can create a new sales quotation through the customer page, for example, either sales, marketing or accounts receivable, and all customers. And then we'll go to our sole tab and new sales.

00:00:24

Or we can go to our sales quotations through.

00:00:30

Sales and marketing.

00:00:33

And all quotations.

00:00:38

So we'll create a new sales quotation.

00:00:42

And we'll do this for an existing customer.

00:00:47

Which we will specify here.

00:00:52

And much of this information will be defaulted to the customer account and we can fill in or edit other fields as required. For example, we will fill in delivery details if necessary and mode of delivery.

00:01:16

Now we can add items to the quotation. We can enter an item number directly.

00:01:23

If we know it.

00:01:26

And the item may have product dimensions that aren't shown on the line. So to display those we will go to sales, quotation line display dimensions.

00:01:41

And for this we will select the colour and then that will appear on the line which we can select.

00:01:51

We'll choose this one and the information should be added by default.

00:01:59

If we wish to add.

00:02:01

A discount fixed or percentage we can enter that here.

00:02:07

And then we'll see the net amount calculated.

00:02:12

We'll close the form.

00:02:17

And refresh.

00:02:19

And we'll see our sales quotation has been created.

00:02:24

We can now continue with an update action. Firstly we can send the quotation to the customer by going to quotation.

00:02:35

And send quotation.

00:02:38

We can choose to print the quotation and we can view the details here, so we'll just click OK.

00:02:50

And we'll see the status has changed to sent.

00:02:54

Now the quotation has been emailed to the customer on the follow Up tab. We have three options here.

00:03:03

Counsel opens the cancellation form and we can enter a reason if we wish, and we'll see. The last quotation is actually the same form. Now the difference is for analytical purposes, we may want to use the cancelled.

00:03:22

Form when it is our decision rather than the quotation was lost because for example of two higher price.

00:03:34

The third option confirm opens the confirmation form. Again. We can choose to print confirmation and review the details, and we click OK.

00:03:49

And we'll see the status of the quotation will be changed.

00:03:55

Two confirmed and that has been converted to a sale.
